Keds was introduced in 1916 and created THE American Classic; the first shoe with a soft rubber sole that combined comfort and the ability to 'sneak' up on people. This original sneaker; called 'The Champion' has remained a favourite for over 90 years; worn by the likes of Audrey Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe and still to this day is popular among the fashion elite, encapturing traditional American Style.
